So the plan is a bit like a Chinese puzzle. I wanted to keep the back door access in case......but i want a bed ....and a seating area too. So we decided BOX components !

This was a photoshop series of pics I sent after first roughs. I'll post the even better looking finals later. Four boxes that can be removed for outdoor seating / indoor "diner" seating with tabletop / stackable to the sides when needed.....or usually flat as a bed :





The final result turned out even better......I love the diner table and sofas version and it's seamless as a bed now .

thanks.....I wasn't sure if I could get all that in one.....but it fits 2 people really well when in "diner" formation. one step forward and a whole bunch more to go still .

Have you considered a dinette style table, that then lowers when you want a bed? Or would the pedestal be too restrictive for you back door access?

I've seen the dinette / bed done a number of ways.....with removable table or hinged beds but I wanted the aisle available for now. I'm already wondering if I'll need more space under a higher bed.....but I'll revise if that becomes an issue ! I will need space to hide more guitars lol

I bought a farm !!! Spencerville Ontario....98 acres. I am leaving a lot that's 35 x 85 for one that's 700 x 7,000 !

Bus is looking awesome, love the bed/table solution.
I keep coming back to look at your rear deck bike carrier, might have to reconsider that for mine. I'm using a KTM Duke for my camp bike and my floor height makes for a real tall ramp trying to get through the rear door.
Congrats on the new homestead, looks beautiful. I haven't been through Spencerville in almost 40 years but do remember how nice it is out there.

Thanks Oscar1 and Frochevy ! I might have to put knobbies on the DR 400.......the road I'm on is the narrowest dirt road I ever saw in Ontario so I expect it will stay that way for a long time.

And yes Fro.......the tiny wood stove works magic. I'll be living in the bus January through Feb while we clean out and revise the house interior......but it does burn through the soft stuff really fast......so you gotta feed it or cut some special hardwood blocks that fit to keep it going longer.
