Its alright here where I am. Gets down to the high 30's some nights and it froze once or twice, but its like 52 out and climbing.

Ditto the weirdness here in Houston. Woke up to 20 degrees with all the roadways iced over.

Chaos rules.

It's only "check mate" if you accept the "Global Warming" framing.

If, however, you think of it as Climate Change, then it would seem that all the scientists who agree with Mr Gore might have a point.

I feel for all you people experiencing this nasty cold so wanted to cheer you up a lot!
Radio reports today say it has been -70f in Siberia the past day or two so it could be worse, right Tango? That's about 90*f less than you, not good for sore old bones like mine either.
As the world turns, expect that cold to be in your neighbourhood soon.
To me even -40 is beyond belief.
Stay warm and safe everyone, watch the roads for black ice in lower lattudes.
Heat wave coming to this area for the rest of the month so a bit of a breather. Up to above 0*Canadian so will be lovely watching the snow melt away while in a lawn chair having a few tasties.

I can't imagine how anyone stays alive in Siberia... Hell I can't imagine how people make it in Michigan.

I think most are incarcerated. The rest send the women out work,

Michigan isn't even up North so a piece of cake, like here.
Cold is a state of mind until you need to go out in it and survive. Lots sure do but is beyond my comfort zone mostly as is the heat down your way.

John
ps: Hope Hillary is doing well, heavy on the pain killers bad break, did she fall off the bus roof painting it for you?

I do not recommend it. Saw the Dr. today, 4 more weeks on the walker. It is surprisingly not as painful as I thought it would be. Got something for the spasms I have at night but other than that I am just taking Tylenol. -Hillary

I fell of a scooter. I was making a left turn from a stop and wasn't even going fast. Thank you though, I am doing better! -Hillary

We're living in the short bus until the big bus is ready... But eventually we won't be needing both!

Finally installed the platform I built for the futon! Now we have storage space below the bed and it's a lot easier to change between bed and sofa.
