Thomas 48 seat price advice

I am looking at a 2002 Freightliner Thomas bus with Cat 3126 and Allison 3060_P transmission in BC Canada for 13K CAD/9.5K USD. It has 202K miles and was sitting unused for a year. Nefore that it was used ro move farm workers. Not sure what it was used for before. No maintenance history a d passed commercial inspection in 2022 last.

This is a 7 window short bus and I a not sure if I should pursue this. We want this size and body type bus (dog nose shorty) and there is not much on sale around here in that group.

Anyone here that an offer advice?

Just from what I have read, I think that is a good engine and transmission combination. Rust? $9500 U.S. A little high maybe. $7000 would be better.

Air ride rear suspension? And make sure it starts easily, and drives down the road OK. An engine or transmission issue out of the chute is a bad thing financially.
