I have been attempting to PM another member with my email address and the forum will not let me. Any ideas on how to become a "trusted member"

Once you have at least 5 posts, you should be able to PM and post pictures.

ive gotten PMs from members with no or only 1 post.

We have a filter that flags Posts and Pms with links in them for members with just a few posts. This is a spam and scam abatement scheme as spammers (and industry sales people) often use the PM system to circumvent the forums prohibition on commercial activity. E-mail addresses are links.

Most sites will block posts with web addresses or email addresses. What I do with such situations is separate the username and domain name...

What is the rule about posting pics for new members? I have seen post from members with pics on their first post. Many here say that you have to wait until you have 5 post before posting pictures.
