Re: What Shorty's Have High Ceilings?

I don't think you'll find a factory chevy with a Cummins in it...lots of people put the 5.9 in chevy and ford pickups tho' early models have almost no wiring etc.
good luck

Re: What Shorty's Have High Ceilings?

I have a 95 Chevy Bluebird 5700HD mini bus that used to have a wheel chair lift. I'm 6'4 and there is another 1" of headroom for me and that is with a 1/2" of board and carpet on the floor. They are out there!

Would this be enough headroom?

We didn't even have a bus when we first saw the buses chopped up like this to haul water melons in from the fields in Cordele. But it still made us cringe. Many of them looked pretty good... well at first. Over the course of the season they would look worse and worse.

That is awesome! I'm surprised we don't see more chopped buses like that on this forum. So many possibilities for using a bus for hauling stuff, and they are so cheap compared to buying any other sort of truck for that purpose! I'm tempted to buy another one just to use as a mobile storage shed! The cost per square foot would be cheaper than buying a shed and I'd have a vehicle to boot!

Used to be a farmer around here that hauled hogs in one, as far as I know he just opened all of the windows, I assume he made it so the hogs couldn't get to where he sat
