Re: !997 3800 T444E

i thought all engines were mechanical.. Other than that, while some run wvo, i only run regular diesel on purpose.

Re: !997 3800 T444E

The only two that I'm familar with are the 12 valve 5.9 and 8.3 Cummins. I know there are tons more that will run on grease, motor oil, trans fluid, etc.

I'm not 100% but I think the T444e is a 7.3 Powerstroke. I do not know that much about Ford's but I do know guys are running them on grease.

Keep it well filtered and de watered and you "should" be fine.

Re: !997 3800 T444E

Powerstrokes LOVE veggie. The fuel filter is heated-and the fuel flows thru the heads heating it more.
Theres a big learning curve to run veg. Unless you know somewhere to buy it, you have alot to learn. I wouldn't even think of of converting till you have 400 gallons collected. Greasing is alot of work-If you are willing + capible, theres money to be saved.

Nope-tranny doesnt matter-WVO is just a fuel running an engine. Manual vs. auto is a personal choice-or just what luck will find for you.
