Converting Mini School Bus to Biodiesel (Veggie Oil)

I'm just curious if there would be an efficient way to convert a mini school bus
(diesel, of course) to biodiesel. I saw someone who converted a full size school bus to biodiesel, but it seemed that he utilized a lot of space underneath the bus for his filtration and heating systems.

Would one have room to do this on a short bus?

Simply more trouble than they are worth. Plus the days of freebie used vegi oil has gone to the wayside. Restaurants know there's a value in it now. So there's no real benefit to how much work it is to supply fuel to run.

I wouldnt even bother unless you have your own source of oil to make the fuel.. like mark says restaraunts wont give it away any more.. many are actually under contract to provide the used oil back th the supplier that provides them the new oil.. and it affects their pricing if they turn in less gallons of it..

Thank you. That's too bad to hear, but I guess that's the way it goes!
