Did you buy a kit or do your own WVO conversion?

Did you buy a kit or did you make your own conversion? Especially for those who made their own how well did it work, did you have any unexpected problems or things the various 'instructions' and general knowledgebase didn't really talk about?

If you converted a second vehicle would you buy another kit or would you try to homebrew?

Would you recommend someone mechanically skilled but whose never done a WVO conversion try to do it themself to save money, or get help, or just get a kit?
