I ran across a website for an interesting looking product the other day, they claim to have an additive that you mix down filtered WVO and run it direct, no heating etc... Any thoughts or comments on this stuff??

I'm very intrested in this... I just bought a 96 Passat diesel last week, and I'm loving the fuel mileage, but it still sucks paying 4.80 a gallon for fuel...

Anyone interested in testing this stuff? I'd love to have a 55 gallon drum of free fuel sitting in my garage, that I can use in the car or my bus.

My guess is that it is xylene, white spirits, or acetone.

Do indeed check back in here with a report, I think if it works it'll be on everyones list. I'm willing to try it too, but not planning on moving the bus for a while so I'm in no hurry to spend money on it....that and I have yet to come up with a source for the WVO...

I love the bad acting in the "testimonial" videos. I hope it works for you but I'm cynical.

from what I have read you have to use a certain kind of oil -vegetable oil . you can't use just any waste oil like hydroginated oil. this is similar to the guys who just mix filtered oil with RUG - regular unleaded gas and burn it in their engines. The big question is will it cause engine wear in the long term. If you have a $1000 car and don't really care you can get away with it. This stuff has gotten a lot of bad mouthing on the biodiesel forums. Good luck
