Veggie oil tank/hot water heater

Anyone ever thought of or heard of someone running a heating coil through their veg tank for the purpose of having hot water? I know an in-line heater would do it but I was just wondering since my tank is only like two feet from my sink cabinet. If you read this and have a thought please post.

Re: Veggie oil tank/hot water heater

that sounds like a great idea
when living on limited power any energy u can squeeze out of your system is gold
the water cooling the oil would have to be so small as to not matter
i say yes do it
