1965 GMC Gillig..thoughts?

Hello Friends!
I would love your input! Looking at a 1965 GMC Gillig 35..with a new Allison 4 speed transmission and a C190 engine. Does anybody have any experience or knowledge about these buses/ engines that they would like to share?..still looking for a retro bus! Thanks!

This is a very old bus and will require lots of mechanical and maintenance issues to be resolved before the conversion even begins. got pictures?

Well at least its not sitting on deflated tires in back of some old service station somewhere!
It actually looks like someone has tried updating it, tribal paint scheme, and the backup camera.
If trans is "new", someone has put some $$ into it.
Still too hard to get an accurate picture of its overall mechanical health from the pics posted.
Is it currently registered and on the road?
