so i took the at545 out to test fit the md3060. i clearly need another flex plate housing so i decided to put the at 545 back in.

im pretty sure i got it all back in as it was but now getting a no crank, just the click as if im in the wrong gear. disconnected the 2 grey wire from the round black barrel next to the shift arm (from what i read this is the NSS) and still nothing.

i know there are 2 of the same connectors on 2 spots on the trans. tried swapping those around and still nothing. one of those connects right where the filter/cooler lines come in and out of the trans (im assuming this is the temp sensor)

and ideas? batteries are full and seeing good voltage when i turn the key. even not running will the back up alarm sound when in R key on? (to test position sensors?

Neutral start switch is on the driver's side of the trans near the shift lever. It's 2 wires and the bus won't start without it plugged in(or jumped).

Reverse switch is on the passenger side of the trans. It acts off pressure, so the bus needs to be running, with the transmission in reverse, and fluid pressure applied to the switch, for this switch to work.

I don't think those two switches have similar connectors, so I'm not sure how you swapped one to the other.

Take a picture of your connectors and maybe we can shed some light on this.
