2010 Thomas saf-t-liner crank, no start

At my wits end here. Bought this bus 250mi from where we live, the bus performed flawlessly all the way home, several pit stops, filled the fuel tank 80 miles ago. Really enjoyed it. Now its the next day: bus cranks, no start, no smoke from exhaust while cranking, it is plugged in and warm. Any ideas? Wondering if there are safety interlocks that will allow this condition. I also see no indicator on the display as to the function of the intake heater (mercedes) so I wait about 15 sec. Before crank. I was dumb enough to park it in front of my plow truck, and of course we have a storm coming. Unfortunately google has been useless to me.

Your bus should start from the back.
Turn on the ignition (key switch)
Open the engine door.
Hold down the engine door button(upper right hand corner) while pushing the start button on the engine.

Yes you probably have an unsecured window or door inside. Doors must be latched but not locked for the bus to start. That rear start routine is for mechanics so they don’t have to walk thru every bus checking hatches.

After you get her started, run a wire from the “st” terminal on your key switch to the button in the back so that the bus starts from the front, AND you have now bypassed all that window/door crap. Pull all of those wires and switches at the doors. And buzzers!

Peace

Sounds to me like it's cranking but has no fuel, like it lost its prime and has air in the line.
