I rebuilt 3 of them. Used a vice and some appropriately sized sockets to press the bearings in place.

Yep, vice and sockets, that's how I plan to do it if I rebuild them.
I just talked to my local dealer, there are replacement bearings so I'll be rebuilding mine.
