AC issues

Wasn’t sure if this should go in the HVAC section or not, since it has to do with the factory air I put it here. Just started on a long road trip today in a Ford E450 shuttle that I’ve been renovating. On the road 2 hours and my air in front dash went out. Fan blows for a second and then gets weaker and weaker. Vent feels cold, but no fan. If I let it set for a while it will do the same thing- blow for a minute or so but getting weak quickly. Any ideas??

Two ideas,

1. could be evaperator freezing up and blocking air flow with ice. Usually low refridgerant can cause that. Can you turn off the a/c but leave the fan on for vent? If so do that and see if after 10-15 minutes air flow will start increasing. If it does then turn a/c back on till air does not come out again and repeat the cycle.

2. blower motor going bad.
