Allison MD3060 question

Regardless what fluid is in the trans now, is there anything that is universally compatible?

I'm not sure if this is actually a trans issue or an electronic issue.

I had to brake hard coming up to a traffic light. When I did, the lights on the gear indicator went out. When the light turned green, it was going into a much slower speed zone. After a few miles the speed zone increases, so I did the usual of getting up to speed. Except, the gear indicator light were still out and now it won't shift out of low gear.

I shut it down in a Walmart parking lot. That was around 2-3am. It's now 8am. I'm about 12-14 miles from the nearest truck stop.
The options for trans fluid here at Walmart aren't too varied. Is there anything that could be dumped into it to get me the rest of this trip? I've got about 100 miles to go.
Any help is greatly appreciated!!!

You have most likely lost power to the tcm. check all fuses and connections especially at the trans. you most likely have a connector coming off at the trans.

Did you check the fluid level to see if it’s low? Too much fluid is as bad as not enough. Check the fluid level, if it’s full check all the elec. connections and fuses. If the fluid is low there are several auto trans fluid conditioners and stop slip products on the market.

Allison transmission lights do not go out due to mechanical faults in the gearbox. Indeed, they stay on and store codes that you can retrieve.

If the lights went out it's an electrical problem.

Thanks y'all! The fluid is in the normal range.
I'm headed to check fuses and connections.
Sorry for the delay on my end. My cell died and had to wait for the tiny solar panel to recharge it some.
I'll check back in and let y'all know what I find, or don't find lol

I'm not sure if it was a loose connection that I inadvertantly pushed back together or if it reset when I shut off the batteries. But after pushing on all the connections and checking as many fuses as I could find, when I turned the batteries back on, everything went back to her normal.
This bus has a ton of issues. Cut wires that I've no clue what they go to, random working wipers, etc. All I know is, y'all have been saving grace. We are almost to our destination and I believe she'll make it there uneventfully lol
Thank you all for being here!
I've learned what I do and don't want in a bus on this trip. I'll be parting this one out and finding a different model to build out. I seriously want one with air ride lol
