AT545 modulator retainer broken

Hello, I am from Germany and now stand in Spain Extremadura 500km before the destination.
the lifting support is bent and has broken the modulator retainer
my modulator retainer from AT454 is broken/cut and loses many oil.
What is the function of the modulator retainer ?
is there oil pressure on it?
Can drive with a makeshift sealed modulator retainer the last 300 miles?

Any Tipps

regards

just to bump this thread.
the modulator is important and will leak tranny fluid if the ring is broken and it has pressure behind it when installed.
a temporary fix i dont know but i have not had to deal with mine or looked at it in awhile.
might be just a simple snap ring from the parts store?
have done some bailing wire fixes in my life to get out of the fields and to home base but have not had to deal with that one yet.
bigger question is why the lift support bent?
maybe motor mount?
things just dont bend without an outlying factor?
the crossmember bending should lead you to what made it bend and the modulator is just a destruction of it bending?
wish you luck
