AT545 Temperature Sensors & Gauge Compatability

So, I have the temperature sensor in my AT545, but there's no gauge on the dash and seeming no wires running from the sensor at all at any point. The school district garage disconnected stuff before they sold me the bus, but never removed entire wire harnesses - even my stop sign could be turned back on by inserting a fuse.

So, lacking a dashboard gauge but having the temperature sensor, do I have to replace the sensor with the one specific to the dash cluster, or is there some kind of "universal" standard?

Basically, could I run down to the local auto parts store or is this something I'm going to have to have a specific model/type?

Post a picture of your sensor. I'd find it odd that they would have a sensor installed yet no wiring or a gauge hole. Maybe you're mistaking something as a sensor.

I think a generic one would work but I’m not positive. I put an aftermarket one on mine.
