Best Source for 7.3 Injectors

Hi all,

Last time we checked in we had just got the bus home after breaking down in Algonquin.

The plan was to work on it immediately, but here we are and I’m just diving in now.

Replacing the injectors has been on my to do list for a while. Not aiming for any incredible performance here, unless you count starting without using the block heater even in warm weather as “performance”.

Just want to get from a to b.

Anyone got suggestions on the best source for injectors based on that?

Thanks!

Hey PigPen,

I am not familiar with particular vendors but I have heard, repeatedly, over on one of the diesel forums that you want to avoid budget injectors. Stick with OEM new or reputable performance injectors.

Thanks for the tip.

I’ll go post on one of the powerstroke forums as well.

If you can remove them yourself, send them to rosewood diesel for a rebuild. Excellent prices and excellent quality. I have 3 sets rebuilt by them and no problems yet. Great warranty too.

By the way... Injectors are tons of fun on an econoline. Not much room to move.

Thanks for that lead, we’re pretty close to them and the prices seem great. Exactly what I was looking for!

I am continually amazed by what an amazing community and resource this place is.

Thank you to everyone.

Edit: E450Shorty, I’m going to check your post history first but may be dm-ing you about the process. I’m aware of the space constraints and they are the main reason I haven’t done them earlier. I’m hoping to do it myself though. If I have to get some special equipment, so be it.

I source all mine from Ford. Never had an issue.
