Yes there are different diameter brake lines. The important values are going to be the INSIDE diameter and the thickness. The inside diameter and system pressure are what determine how much fluid goes to your wheel calipers or cylinders.

Changing the inside diameter will affect your braking system. Possibly in an imperceptible way, possibly in a dangerous way.
There was mention of stainless braid lines..... They have give and will also change the operation of brake systems and should only be used where they were originally installed unless you are engineering an entire system including flow volume, pressures, etc.


To do a signature go to the "USER CP" tab in the black bar towards the top of the page, left side. One of the options down the left side is "edit signature". You get four lines max
