Buying a Bus: 2010 Elkhart Coach ECll

Hi! I've been researching different busses, but I haven't been able to find much on it... does anyone have this bus make/model? What have your experiences been with it?

Disclosure: this is my first time purchasing a bus! Thank you for any help 🤗✨️

Oh this is great advice. I had read some of the diesel engines in 77pass after 2008 have issues, but nothing about these models. Thank you!!

do you know what engine?
let us know.
my son was a ford mechanic up until the virus mess left him setting at home so he can tell us everything about your engine.
if its the v10 then i say its golden.
i have one in a 250 super duty at 400,000 miles only issues were keeping the spark plugs tight but we fixed that a few years ago.

bad engine 3 valve triton.
hydraulic timing chain tensioners.
even with religious oil changes the timing chain will fail.
and cam phasers without religious oil changes to keep them happy.
a 3 valve triton is one to run away from.
you can take 2 valves heads from something else with two valve heads and make it more reliable. but that engine is a bomb waiting to happen.
some thoughts from myself and some from my sons as well.
sorry i am an old school mechanic but raised my children as mechanics and they went to work as mechanics. one went that way and one can do it but he doesnt want to.
they both work for the company i work for but we are mechanics by trade.
sorry for the book story.
