Checking Oil on T444e

I feel almost stupid for asking this, but I cannot find an oil dipstick on a 2004 t444e. Where is that to check oil level? I see where to fill the oil, but I can't figure out how to check it.

Also, there is another black dipstick with a dark black liquid in it. It says on it that if it is low to add 2-quarts, so I'm assuming that isn't oil since I know this engine will take more than 2-quarts.

Thanks!

a picture of both dipsticks inserted please?
your profile says DT which one.
normaly the oil stick has a finger loop head and the transmission has more of a flip type head.
neither should be coal black but for oil it happens without maintenance.
the tranny fluid should never be black because it is a reddish fluid.

the oil stick is on the passenger side of the engine.. it will be a little loop between the valve cover and ther exhaust manifold..

the "add 2 quarts" is not an indication of total capacity but if the stick is at the 'add' mark it needs 2 quarts.. the engine holds 20-22 quarts so being doiwn 2 quarts isnt a disaster

I attached a photo of the only thing that I could find. It may be it; it just didn't look like I expected it to look. And it is shorter than I expected.

I did find the flip-stick for transmission.

This is a T444e. The DT mentioned in my profile is my other bus.

Thanks!

Thanks! I was expecting a stick with a loop on the end, so this threw me off! I guess I need an oil change now since it is darker than I would have expected.
