Cummins turbo diesel

1993 TC2000 Cummins turbo diesel. The gas pedal is super tight. Literally can't drive for more than 30 minutes or my knee hurts bad enough so I can't walk. It's not air powered. I'm not bus mechanically inclined but willing to do what I can. Just looking for help, I've had the bus for 3 weeks. Thanks for all the information.

follow the cable out the front and under the radiator back up to the motor.

tighten up all the cable brackets. look for a bind. you may want to dissasemble one end and put some graphite down the cable to lube it up.

i replaced my cable a few years ago. because the pedal was stiff to push, one time i stomped on it and it snapped. that leaves you dead in the street! fix it before you get that point.

i have the same bus, here is the parts diagram from when i purchased my cable. its pretty straight forward. the pedal should not be to stiff.
