Custom Radiator pipes

My Lower coolant pipe is about shot and I am in search of another one.
Does anyone know a good shop that can make it in SS, or has anyone used the flexible SS tubing 2'' with good results?

Some sort of mild steel. It rusted through and is very thin.

If you can roll a bead on the ends you could use exhaust tubing. If it rusted from the outside keep it painted if it rusted from the inside you have coolant problems.

It is rusted from the outside, that is a good way to tell if there is a coolant problem though S2 excellent advise. I found a company in PA that specializes in truck/Bus SS tubes for turbo and coolant. mandrel bending, proper beading on the ends and made of 304SS for less than the price of a new one. The company is called bhtubes. Still expensive though. wish i had a place that could do it local to NH. The Upper tube is in decent shape, so I am not worried. The upper is almost straight two sight bends, a 45° boot may allow it to fit using straight pipe if I want to tackle it in the future I will just have to add a bung 1/4 npt bung to itf for an air bleeder.

If you can weld, just buy 45 ells (mandrel bent) and straight pipe and weld them up. Then take 1/8 inch rod and make one rap around the end and tack them in place. All that is for is to keep the hose from sliding while clamped. I am changing my cooler out and will be doing the same here in a few weeks. I will also weld a stud on each pipe to connect a ground wire on to stop electrolysis.

Excellent idea for the bead. I should be getting a welder for Christmas (just have to press the checkout button on it, its going to hurt the pocket). I have to learn how to use it. I have done very little mig, but I am interested in TIG for SS and AL.

Other than a good woman and a good dog every man needs a welder.
