how to test Hydraulic Fan
How do i test a Hydraulic drive system to see if the fan is spinning at the right speed?
I have a 94 Cat 3116 and believe the fan isn't spinning at the higher rpm.

On my 1990 if you unplug either the water or boost temp sensor it will go to high speed.
