Newbie Looking for Advice

Good morning everyone. I just bought a bus and will be taking it to a diesel mechanic this week for a thorough once over. That said, what do you guys suggest I do to the bus for preventative maintenance? I'm terrified of the thought of getting stranded away from home. I plan on making the bus mechanically sound before doing any of the conversion. Thanks!

with that 6.0 you're gonna want to get out the check book and pay up for the bulletproofing. Its not cheap and to do it right the body has to come off the frame.

Fortunately, the previous owner put in a new EGR cooler, HPOP, glow plugs and alternator. Not sure about the head studs...

I'd want at least the UPGRADED oil cooler, egr, and FICM. minimum.

Is there a particular brand you'd suggest for each? Thankfully, I'm not under a time constraint to get this done so I'm able to save over time.
