Which one works?

I purchased a nexus on amazon and it didn’t seem to work. Said no codes when the CEL on the dash is clearly on.

you need a J1708 / J1939 reader.. the protocol is not OBD2 unless the bus is a van cutaway then they run on OBD2..



if you have a smart-phone or tablet then the Bluefire is a good device of choice that many use..



you can get it in the 6 pin round or 9 pin round connector depending on what the conector under your dashboard is..

Sorry I forgot to mention it is round pin for Cummins in 2003 bluebird.

I was hoping someone had insight on why the nexus I purchased did not work.

I will look up the option you mentioned. Thank you!
