Hey There!
I'm a young woman who is very much new to car mechanics, let alone bus mechanics, and am too intimidated due to past bad experiences to just pick a shop off google & risk being taken advantage of by a mechanic again.
I have a 93 Ford Diesel 7.3L short bus and I am looking for a mechanic who can come out to me and help me install the two new batteries just I bought (bus's old batteries were shot so I removed and recycled them). Then she just needs a general look over to see where she is at as far as being road trip ready.
Before the batteries died she was driving fine locally.
I need to drive to southern CA in mid October so I want to make sure everything (especially brakes) are good to go!
If there are any signs upon general inspection that we should bring it to a shop you either work at or can vouch for I'm totally fine with that. I of course want to make sure I am safe on my adventures and don't mind spending what is needed to make sure that happens, I just don't have that kind of extra money to be squeezed out of me like most shops seem to do!
