Rebuilt Engine - opinions please - Looking at a bus tomorrow

Hi there ,
Please help me!!!! I have been stalking busses for a few years and I have to get off the fence and do something soon as I am loosing my place to live.

I wanted a short one and found one really close to me! Kismet?
I am looking at the bus a small 4 window tomorrow morning and this is what the ad says.

"1994 school bus with single rear wheels.
350 chevy gas motor and 700r over drive trans.
Motor and trans were re built with around 100k on them. new exhaust and cat Passes smog with current registration and clean title. all new tires and all lights work and runs sweet"

Not sure how many miles the body has on it. will try to ask and see papers.

Is a rebuilt engine and trans a safe purchase? I once had a trans go in my VW passat wagon, had it re built but sold it a few months later as I wan not sure about these things ie: would it last?

Chassis: old f500- new 2005 f-450
Engine: cummins 12 valve
Rated Cap: 20? five rows of 4?
rebuild.....

If the rebuilds have 100,000 miles...... then I would be inclined to say "good to go"

It should have a 4l80e transmission. (Large roundish pan) 4l 60e (700r4 ) will have a square pan
If it doesn’t stay away the 4l60e is to light duty. I can build them to survive but it is cheaper to put a 4l80e in
