Most DPF buses will do an active or driving regen when at operating temperature and while running at highway speeds. Or there's usually a switch somewhere for a parked regen. Once the DPF is significantly plugged then the driving one won't go and you're forced to do a parked regen. My 2008 IC FE300 had a switch in the drivers area for it. I recall some Gillig low-floor buses I drove in college the switch was in the engine compartment.
Oh well
See that’s why I can’t find out how to regen my bus a 2008 Thomas c2 with a Mercedes mbe900 what with a freightliner chassis no one knows
It didn’t come with a switch to regen
Has to be away
Must be me
Yup but at 609 a gallon not driving as much
Maybe a parked regen is what I want
And what the bus is asking for a parked regen
But how IT DONT A HAVE A REGEN switch
Feel me
I havent worked on a mercedes.. it may be something thats in a menu on the LCD odometer screen if you have one.. I have seen this to be the case on some of the CAT engines in freightliner box trucks...
