Replacing rusted tank for plastic one

Hello skoolie nation! I bought a 2011 bluebird vision not to long ago from inside the rust belt. Being a newer rig, the rust was not to bad but did effect the passenger rear side enough to have a few holes in my floor/body. I have a 100 gallon rectangular tank that fits in between the frame rails that is ready to rust out. Ive unscrewed the fittings and dropped the tank. Has anyone done this before to replace with a plastic tank? If so where did you find the tank? I am having a hard time finding a company to make only one. Thanks!

You might be able to repair/weld your tank since it's not a commercial vehicle anymore.

Assuming? it's a fuel tank you're trying to replace?

The tank probably needs to be replaced with the same type that you're removing, if you can't fix the stock one.
Main reason being the fuel lines that won't line up with a generic version, not specific to your year/model bus.
The fuel lines might also be tender, depending on what they're made of.
Fortunately for you, the bus is new enough that replacement parts should be available still.

Unfortunately there might be other "downstream" issues that pop up when you buy a rusted bus.
