But, I guess every time I've tried the unplugging trick it was due to a no-start, not a sudden loss of power issue. I still wonder what the deal is with the white smoke is, unless that was just the leaking oil being burned off the exhaust pipes.

I read somewhere people arguing over the ICP diagnosis. One person said, if things change for the best when you unplug it, that ment it was time to change the sensor. Another person said the opposite, that if nothing changed when you unplug the sensor means you are all ready running on default mode.
I kinda think both ideas make sense.
For the smoke, could still be an o ring, or since the smoke and boost issues are both gone, could also be because of a very poor oil/fuel calcule from the PCM that was gerking out oil from the injection system on one side because of a very poor pressure reading. (?) (i hope so ^^)
Time will tell.
