2003 e350 7.3 engine, coolant

Hello,

I’m in Canada and I need to change my coolant on my e350 2003 7.3 minibus that I bought 1 month ago. The previous coolant was red but i read that 2003 7.3 takes gold or green.. i don’t want to flush it all, do you know which kind I could use?

International SPEC'd a red coolant in that year.. ford SPEC'd a gold.. no idea what they have in there.. alot of people put in Peak FinalCHarge as it had a much longer lifetime than the others..



if you dont know whats in it then I would flush the whole thing clean and install the ford recommended coolant or an alternative which is approved for your engine.. (AMSOIL poly-organic for example).. Mixing coolant types seems to be a bad thing from everything ive read..

Thanks for you answer. I already drained all the previous coolant but my intend was to add the same color, without deep cleaning all the hoses and stuffs. Do you think this would work ?
