B600 quit running

Good morning all. I just purchased a 1988 Ford B600 and drove it home with no issues. I've been idling it around the house until yesterday when I started it and it idled for about 2 minutes and started running rough. Would not revv up. Eventually died. Now it will not start. No telling when the last fuel filter change was. Could it be a stopped up filter? Fuel pump? I know if has new fuel because I filled it up. Before this is purred like a kitten. Battery is good. Any thoughts?

It sounds like a plugged fuel filter. Was it real cold when this happened? If so it may have waxed up. If this has sat a long time you may have a tank full of algae growing and it became dislodged when you filled up and clogged the filters.

Thanks for the feedback. It’s Texas and 90 degrees. I may check the fuel pump as well.

Hey Bus 21. I live in Austin. I bought a 1990 GMC B6000 and am having interlock issues. Complete newbie. Do you have wiring diagrams?
