I'm not as well versed with the 6.0, except that "as-built" they had a few issues that could lead to a destroyed engine if not addressed. The process of addressing these issues is often referred to as "bulletproofing" the engine, which I understand to have excellent reputations afterward.
It seems this engine has had this work done (at no small cost, but *VERY* much less than a new engine), as such, it's one of the few 6.0's that I would consider/recommend. All I can suggest is *DO YOUR RESEARCH ON THE 6.0 BEFORE BUYING* and make an informed decision. This forum has had more than one member buy a 6.0 equipped vehicle and not even make it home before the engine self-destructed (and one quote for a replacement engine was in the $25K territory. You read that right, Twenty-Five Thousand bucks. Not twenty-five-hundred.)
