1999 GMC Savanna 3500

Hey all!

Apologies if this isn't the right place to post, but I wanted to pick all y'all's brains. I recently saw a 1999 GMC Savanna 3500 on craigslist for $6000, however the catalytic converter was stolen. From what I saw online, replacing them yourself is doable, I'm not a great welder but I think I could manage replacing it or if not I could just buy the part and find someone to help install it. Has anyone gone through something similar? I'd think since it's a bus it'd have a bit more clearance and be easier to work on but I'm not sure.

I was also curious if anyone had any input as far as the price? It seems fair and from what I saw online they're a pretty solid engine and the bus has been maintained. It seems like the auction route is going to be cheapest, but this bus is local and private party which would simplify things a bit
