P30 chassis on '00 Mini Bird Shifting
Hello everyone. I have a question regarding shifting gears on my 2000 Blue Bird Mini-Bird w/ a Chevy P30 chassis. The bus shifts gears at around 15 mph, then again around 25 mph, but doesn't shift again as far as I can tell (past 45-50 mph...still not shifting). Does this seem unusual? The engine seems to be running very loud at speeds around 45-50 mph at about 2500 rpm or so. Just curious is you guys think it should be shifting from 3rd to 4th gear?
