Reliable DD Mechanic in FL

Hey all. Just bought myself a bus (admittedly not a school bus) sight unseen down in Florida. Yeah, yeah, risky business.

Anyway, first place I plan to drive it is a Detroit mechanic to tell me what I just got myself into. The bus is in Fort Lauderdale, but it's said to be drivable - so a mechanic anywhere in FL would be fantastic. Do any of you folks know a reliable outfit I should bring it to?

You better not just ask for a DD mechanic, you better ask for an old timer, 2 stroke mechanic. You'd be better suited going over to Bus Conversion Magazine and asking there.

What did you get?

But I didn't a get a 2 stroke. I ended up buying a '94 Setra with a 12.7L Series 60 motor in it (paired with an Allison B500 transmission).

Ooooooo.......

I'd still go over there and ask around. Helpful bunch and more suited to a coach than here.

Waiting on my new account to be approved. Same type of registration process that's employed here.
