1997 DT466 Coolant Bottle Pressurized After Sitting

My 1997 International with a DT466 has an odd problem. Its been stored for about a month and I went to check on it, when I took the radiator cap off it was pressurized and started leaking/pouring out. I left the cap off and it stopped after a bit.

I started it up and felt no pressure on the coolant bottle with my hand. After running it a bit the coolant level went from the cap down to the max line. Ran and drove fine, temp held steady at 180.

I parked it and it was fine, no leaks.

This morning there is a small puddle of radiator fluid that leaked out.

The oil is clean. No smoke in the exhaust. Doesn't seem to be loosing radiator fluid.

Any idea why it would be overflowing after sitting for a month?

Is it cold where you're located? Just wondering if the antifreeze/water might have frozen a bit somewhere in the cooling circuit and expanded, causing the the overflow tank to pressurize.

It did get below freezing when it was parked.

When it over flowed it was like 75.

It was parked when it was like 45.

I'm thinking it might just be 8 gallons of coolant expanding and overflowing a bit
