2001 DT466E serpentine belt

Anyone know where I can find a serpentine belt number for a 2001 DT466E 215HP? Mine has been squeaking, looks good still (no cracks and pliable) But I need to replace it and ck the pulleys and tensioners and it would be easier to locate the belt 1st as I'm on the road. And has someone done one? Do I need any special tools?
Thanks,
Michael Callahan

Napa or any heavy truck parts store should be able to get you the belt. You should only need a 1/2" drive rachet and a pipe or a 1/2" drive breaker bar
You stick the drive into the square hole in the tensioner push up or pull down. To release the tension and slip the belt off. Its a one man job but a second person makes it easier. Try to take a pic of how the belt runs around the pullies first

Given the many variations on gear installed on different buses, best bet is to measure.

I can try to look it up for you. Do you have a series number for the chassis it is built on? 3800, etc? Should be a badge on the hood. This is what I found listed for a 2001 3800 series with 7.6L (DT466's displacement in litres) engine...

Well that is another head scratcher because all the literature I find contradicts each other so is the dog nose bus a 3800 and the flat nose (stripped chassis) 3900FC?

Googling Images - International 3900FC shows all flat-nose. And yes, the 3800 should be a dog-nose. As I mentioned, if it is a dog-nose, there should be a badge on the side of the hood above the fender, like so...

I can tell you the RockAuto listings for an '01 International 3800 series with 7.6L show 72" and 72 1/2" belts, but show for "FAN ALT AND WATER PUMP" - which would suggest a separate belt for power steering?

FYI, for the most part, dog-nose buses are almost ALWAYS standard medium-duty truck chassis such as Ford F600/F700, GM 4500/5500, International 3800, etc. and are pretty much shipped to body builders such as Thomas, Blue Bird, Ward, etc., as an incomplete vehicle with only the running gear, hood and dash installed. Hence, anything under the hood should generally be standard-issue for the series chassis in question.

I found a site for HNC truck parts that may help. Here is a link to what I was able to find by searching their site for 2001 Navistar DT466E Drive Belt

Hope that helps!
