Well, another option for you is to go directly to the bus companies, or the local school district bus yards in your area. Might have better luck buying direct from them.

One suggestion is First Student. Their units aren’t bad. (mine wasn’t bad when I bought it. Granted it needs a bit of motor work but that wasn’t unexpected for the age.) Average cost ranges from $3,000 to $5,000 for a runner. Might have good luck there. Any questions on that, you can PM me.

Since First Student is nationwide, you might be able to find yourself one that is in your particular state or whatever area you reside in. Now the trick is to find what you’re looking for, in terms of options equipped, motor and trans, length, and gearing.

Mine was sparsely optioned but I don’t have an issue with that.

Two things that concern me Mileage and (and this one is probably minor, but since I don't know what to look for) It's missing it's oil and coolant reservoir (is that the overflow or the radiator?) cap. I know neither of those is expensive, I'm more worried if them not being there could be cause for concern. I know on old cars somtimes if you were having overheating problems you'd get a reduced pressure cap..

Right now it's at about 3k ::shrugs::
Reduced pressure radiator cap would increase the chances of over heating. 1psi raises the boiling temp by 3*. The more pressure the cap, the higher boiling temp, reduce it and you risk overheating. A 12psi cap would take boiling point to 248*.
