So I went to the International dealer yesterday and purchased the In-Frame rebuild kit for my 2005 RE300. The bus was purchased as a non runner, had milk shake for oil.
I had first asked for a build sheet and then I noticed that this bus DOES have a brake interlock circuit. I then asked the service manager for a circuit diagram.. lo and behold he sent me a 2 page diagram.
So here it is for all to enjoy...
If someone can help out with this, It would be helpful if someone would print it out and maybe using colored pencils, if you could indicate/draw on the circuits page what need to be done in order to bypass this circuit, I think it would be helpful to others going forward...
I am not removing my wheelchair lift so I won't be bypassing this circuit but yes, I would also like to know how to bypass it...just incase...
i am not the one for a specific answer.
do you have the old system or the new system?
and it would help if we know what the number designations are.
the number 10 on the new system sheet has an added sensor and says the parking brake can be released with the air supply depleted.
i dont agree with that from a safety aspect.
this looks like an air line routing diagram instead of a wiring diagram and i would think that any valve would fail closed?
i dont know your system but always like learning about different setups as well.
thanks for sharing.

Thanks for taking a look...
I have no idea if my interlock is old or new system, I am not taking it out anyways as I intend to leave the wheel chair lift in place.
since mine does have an interlock I wanted to learn about it and share the info too.
I was thinking that this info will help many more in the future who come here and say, HELP...I CUT SOME WIRES AND NOW MY BUS WONT START/MOVE !
you know, the one that "Know" what there doing!
LOL...
Here is a wiring schematic for a 2007 BE & CE bus.
Please, someone with experience, can you please go ahead and markup the diagram with the necessary mods to turn off the interlock.
Freightliner M2 ADA Parking Brake Interlock addition
So I found this document today that shows how to install an ADA wheelchair lift on a Freightliner M2 so I thought i would add it to this list for those who need it.
