On a VT365 it’s not as involved as a Ford 6.0, you can look up bulletproof A ford power stroke 6.0. ( IH made the Diesel engines for ford)
On the VT365 oil cooler and EGR cooler with aftermarket units will keep things going. It isn’t tuned so as long as your head gaskets check out good now you don’t need to do head studs.
The VGT turbo could sometimes stick causing low boost / black smoke or turbo lag if it stick open..
Making sure the engine cooling system is in good order.. radiator , fan clutch, temp gauge and proper coolant. You don’t want to overheat your VT365, you can ruin it easy. Might want to get a bluefire J1939 device where you can see the engine data from the computer on a tablet or smart phone screen. You can monitor oil temp and turbo boost which aren’t on the normal dashboard.
The IC BE is a nice little platform .. be mindful of the weight you add to it during conversion and since it has small wheels try not to add lots of weight high up, it will drive squirmy if it’s too heavy..
