Off hand, I'd say adjust the governor to increase engine speed. To see where your governor's top rpm is set at, with the engine warm, floor the throttle and see how high the tach goes. Hopefully, you've got a tach on the console. If it doesn't turn at 2400, turn up the governor.You got to figure out how, and please don't overspeed your engine.

dunno, sticker plainly says "curb idle and fuel rate @ advertised power and injection timing are non-adjustable"

If thats truely the case maybe it's just a computer tweek?
