DT408 not starting after fuel filter change

We bought our 1994 international with a DT408 (flat front). We immediately had to change the rear airbags but mechanically it was running great. Before our 1,500 mile journey home we wanted to change the oil and fuel filter. Done with no problems, primed the pump and it started right up. Let it run for about 20 minutes. The next day it struggled starting then we turned it off. Now it won’t start. Checked the fuel filter again and filled it up now the primer doesn’t seem to be priming. Sprayed starter fluid in air intake and it still won’t start. Where do we start che king from here?

Figured it out. If someone has this problem we pressurized the fuel tank with a compressor, hand over intake and pumped the primer at the same time. Finally got fuel to come through the lines. Serious air trapped.

on mine I unhook the line from the tank right at the water separator then use a hand pump to pressurize fuel through the new water separator and the fuel filter.. sometime doing the tank still keeps air trapped as the return lines go to the same tank.
