allison 2000 automatic transmission belle plaine MN

in the picture the transmission is bolted the back of v8 turbo diesel..... cast iron block adapter.

the picture shows a harness on the transmission. the serial number comes back as a sae #2 housing.... this is the transmission housing you need for 3060 swap, or 643, 653 or 654


i just wanted to put the word out there.

im interested to see.. the T444E comes stock with an SAE2 flywheel housing and then is adapted down with a 2 to 3 adapter for any SAE3 transmissions.. when I did my 1000 swap I did not remove the adapter ring but its there..

I put in the information so a person can look it up. The picture shows transmission still attached to the engine. Just looked different to me. Because of that, I ran the transmission serial number and that came back as a number two housing. I just don’t see that very often. I see number housing and a number three adapter ring most of the time.

I just looked up the market place post, the ad has been up for 8 weeks, the price is down to $250
