I remember from several years ago, I did a 7.3 and I had to run it for quite awhile before it would run right. Something about getting all the air out of the HEUI system. Is the 466e the same? Does it take awhile for it to run right, or am I doomed to buy a scan tool? (I don’t have one for this truck).
Thanks!

What model year is your engine? 2006 should've been EGR at that point. There were two different injector sku's depending on your HP rating. My 2005-06 245HP 7.6's had a slightly more expensive injector than their 220HP cousins.
I'd run your VIN against Navistar OnCommand (

It should only take a few minutes of hiccuping to get any air out.
