Fuel filter looks wonky

Doing pre trip check and noticed filter askew. Bus seems to run fine. Thoughts?

It's normal. The filter o-ring seats on the inner surface "island" and is machined at an angle so the filter body better clears the engine.

Looks wonky, but it's fine. Most people overlook it and are unaware.

Here is a pic of one off of ebay. The listing says it's a dt530, but it's similar to what you have.

Looking at that picture reminds me to tell you all that the cartridge looking thingy has a screen in it to catch the larger solids that could wander into your tank, just so you know to take a look at it during your PM checks. (DT 408, 466, 530)
