any and every parameter.. the god-mode service max essentially is a source-code mod that applies the Hash on every parameter so the ECM never refuses a program code.

the Horsepower is changed by altering the the EFRC (engine family rating code) the the HP code.. each EFRC and HP is a pair and must match each other.. ie tyou cant just arbitrarily set the HP at 500 and get any gains as it wont match the EFRC..

but say you upgraded your turbo, HPOP and sticks you could run a DT530E program that expects big sticks (not sure how your pistons would fair)..

if you have a Valid subscription to NavKal you can use servicemaxx ,change the VIN and Engine serial number in the ECM and then use NavKal to download calibrations for that combo..

Just remember that VW ag now owns Navistar and they (VW) have already run afoul of the EPA. They are going to be very gun shy of touching anything that might bite them in the a**. These low hp dt’s don’t have adequate piston oil cooling to run heavy loads of fuel. They are a lot like early 855 Cummins in that regard. They are still excellent long life engines if respected. Keep the fuel delivery low at lower rpm’s and keep it in the upper rpm range when pulling. The old rule of thumb was 80% of max rpm.
