HELP! Wiper linkage MIA

Hello friends, I'm hoping you may help me. I'm nearly completed with our 89' international s1700 conversion but the last issue is a ball buster. The bus was sold to me without any windshield wiper components whatsoever and I cannot for the life of me find replacements. I finally found Salvage yard online that looked like they had the same exact bus but when they sent me the assembly it was too small. They even threw in a spare set because they pulled it before realizing the motor was bad. So now I have two identical sets that don't fit. I'm contemplating welding extensions to the linkage to make it fit but that would require cutting into the dashboard and who knows what else. The clearance is super tight where it is supposed to mount, although I can't even tell exactly the motor is supposed to go. I'd rather find a unit that bolts right on like its supposed to fit. Am I missing something? Help!
